Eva Morris and Nina Brown have today been named as only the third-ever New Zealand artistic swimmers to participate in the Olympic Games.
Based on the Gold Coast for this campaign and being coached by Maryna Kholod, they have trained immensely hard over the last months to achieve this outcome. After Fukuoka World Aquatics Championships in 2023, Nina and Eva also competed across Europe and Canada to secure their Olympic spot.
ASNZ is immensely proud of both athletes and would like to thank everyone working behind the scenes who have made this possible.
All the best Eva and Nina! We are all watching and feel inspired by your dedication.
Lizzie Roussel is making a comeback to the Olympic Games in Paris after withdrawing from Tokyo 2020.
She will be representing New Zealand in Women’s Diving: 3M Springboard, becoming the first New Zealand Diver to compete in two Olympic Games.
